Fundraising and social events

MCFCO is a not-for-profit organisation and each year the voluntary Committee of Management needs to organise fundraising initiatives to pay for educational and social activities for the children, learning environment enhancements (i.e. toys, books, equipment) and staff awards. While Monash University provided significant funds to establish our fantastic Centre, we rely on parental contributions to meet the needs of our children and make sure our Centre remains wonderful. 


Throughout the year we will be offering a range of primary and secondary fundraising initiatives and we require parents to get involved as much as possible. We realise certain fundraising initiatives are more appealing to some families than others, but there is an expectation that parents will be actively involved with at least 2 to 3 activities per year.



How can you get involved and support the Centre?

Below is a list of suppliers whom MCFCO is associated with. By purchasing through these organisations you contribute to our fundraising account. Be sure to share this information with family and friends - anyone can get involved - it’s not limited to MCFCO parents!

Tax Deductible Donations

2018 | 2019 Entertainment Books

2018 | 2019 Entertainment Books are now available from MCFC. You can purchase either a digital or book copy at https://www.entertainmentbook.com.au/orderbooks/1821y94.

If you purpose a book copy, bring your receipt to reception to collect you book. Entertainment Books are great value, with a huge range of vouchers, for example Woolworths, Chemist Warehouse and restaurants (including McDonalds!) and many, many more. 

  • These make a fantastic gift and interstate versions can be ordered online too!
  • Be sure to print a receipt of your online order. Books will be available for pick up from MCFCO reception.

Primary fundraising activities 

The Centre relies on parents and Committee members to suggest and initiate social activities and events. If you have a suggestion or would like to organise an activity,  please send an email to the Committee of Management at committee@mcfco.org.au.  


Stuck On You -  Personalised Labels, Containers, Water Bottles, Clothing, Bags, Stationery

  • Do you need personalised labels, lunchboxes, drink bottles, or babies’ or children’s gifts? Order through Stuck On You and MCFCO will receive credits as a percentage of your spend. Credits will be used annually to purchase products or can be converted to a cash deposit for our fundraising account.
