Fees

Fees depend on the family's eligibility for Child Care Benefit (CCB) and Jobs, Education and Training (JET) Child Care Fee Assistance , and are based on the family's income. Usually all families are eligible for some level of assistance. You may choose to have Child Care Benefit deducted from your weekly fee to reduce your usual fee or you can pay full fees and claim your lump sum benefit at the end of the financial year.

For information, ring the Family Assistance Office (FAO) on 13 12 02. between 8.00am and 8.00pm. Monday to Friday. The FAO web site is www.familyassist.gov.au

Fees include nappies, nutritious hot lunches and snacks.

Salary Packaging is available for Monash University Staff. You cannot salary package and claim the full Child Care Benefit. More details can be found on the Monash University website here. You can also find there the Salary Packaging vs Child Care Benefit estimator (scroll down the page).

Daily Fees

• $82 PER DAY FOR STUDENTS
• $84 PER DAY FOR NON-STUDENTS

Fees are billed one week in advance and need to be paid within 7 days of issuing of the account.

Late fee of $10 per week charged for late payment of fees.

If fees continue to be late for 3 weeks, without coming to an repayment plan arrangement, bookings will be cancelled.

Additional casual days are available in daily or half day sessions only: $84 per full day & $42 per half day.
The half-day periods are 7.30am - 1pm and 1pm - 6.30pm.

Casual bookings can be only booked for dates less than two weeks ahead.

Notice for cancellation of additional bookings must given no later than the day before.

Other Fees:

• Late pick up of child fee: $15 for 15 minutes or part of 15 minutes.
• Maintenance levy of $25 charged twice a year per family.
• Share / membership fees: $100 per family.
• Security fob: $20 ($15 refundable when the fob is returned).
• Dance / Music session (weekly in school term time): $35.00 per term.
• Centre Activity Contribution of $25 charged twice a year per family, refundable if the parents participate in any Centre’s activities, either working bees or designated fundraising activities.
• Other excursions or incursions: Staff will notify parents of the cost.
• Any bank charges: e.g dishonoured cheques or identification search.

Two weeks notice in writing is required to both change or cancel booked days.
